Heckz yeah. Lets put in a Snark-Duck with a phys_thruster in the back to make us win!
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

What's the point? The fact that it will gib the rest of the ducks to death is enough to guarantee our glorious victory. :heee:

One of the few decisions of the Politburo of the Chinese Central
Committee (if that's what they call it) I fullheartedly agree with. >:)

[edit]

Oh, wait, CNN America is the crappy one. I take that back.

From the article:

Race organisers hope 30,000 plastic squeaky ducks will take to the water to be cheered on by thousands of supporters and celebrity guests.

It all kicks off on Sunday (30th July) at 2pm, when the individually numbered ducks will be launched from a barge crane in Battersea Park.

The Great London Duck Race will be the first large-scale race of its type in the UK; anyone can take part by going to http://www.greatlondonduckrace.com/ and adopting a duck (or a whole family of them). They cost ?10 each and prizes include diamonds worth ?4,000 and a luxury Egyptian holiday.

Whoah crazy. So its like... a lottery?

As in, its pretty much random which duck, carried by the current, crosses the finish line first?

Someone needs to buy a SnarkPit duck and win the egyptian holiday.

Yeah, haha... it seems a bit unfair though.

That's the picture off the article.. looks like at least several hundred ducks all kind of mashed together with no space to move, on the water... like a huge pack of them. So if your duck starts in the back there's not really any chance it will get to the front.. unless the river/whatever widens up ahead, but then it's still far behind and unlikely to catch up. I bet the winning duck is from the front row.
