well, the cd/demo ep is done, the packaging is in the making, and these guys are actually doing better than i ever thought they would.....they have the drive i used to have 25/30 years ago......and they are just kinda draggin' me along for the sheer "torture the old man" element.....f**kin comedians......

....anyway, i digress....im throwing a link up for "Matt's Rocket Collection", if anyone would care to check out some old school rock and roll, here ya go....

i bring this up for a reason guys....they have re-taught me the value of hard work, and what you can actually accomplish when you set yer mind to it....tenacious M***F***....theres a live cut up from the halftime show we did for an arena football team here a couple weeks ago....not bad, imho

im proud of em....they worked hard, they earned for it, the payed some dues as they say....and they learned....

fishman, do you guys get the "the hairball john show" on yer radio or net dials by chance? "rockbabe" did a podcast over there yesterday with one of our tunes on it....MRC is about 30 minutes in....

....anyway, they have some good stuff in store for the summer, so have a listen, tell me yer thoughts; i know where im at, so dont be shy....

I've never heard of the Hairball John show, but that's probably more of an indication of my music listening habits, than anything to do with the popularity/availability of the show here.

It's not really the type of music I'd normally listen to (more of a Glastonbury pilgrim than a Donington one), so it was no surprise to me that I didn't like the singer too much. The music was spot on (none of those bad key changes and discordant runs that I expect from rock bands). The singer is almost always the person that makes rock bands sound bad to me anyway, so he's probably spot-on too.

Are you the "Mean Ole' Bastard" on the strat? If so, the band are "draggin' you along" for more than you claim.

hmm....interesting....is it that no one wants to take the time or effort to beat me up on this topic?....used to be nothing but blunt, to the point critiques and comments on here...i could always get an honest opinion (see fishman above)...just curious...

flog at your will......or not, i suppose....

Sorry,

/throws half-empty beer bottles at Brasso

Now that the beating up is done, that there's some fancy shredding. I guess there can be exceptions to every rule, including "Old people don't rock."

Do you have a CD out now? If yes where can I buy the sucker
+ Let me know if you're ever playing in Austin.

Good stuff man, you have a very clapton'esque look to you btw. The rythrm riffs are very ACDC - I like it.

I literally just put new pickups in my strat, got a set of sd rails
pickups. thinking of wiring it with a couple of push/pull's to
series/parallel & split/unsplit at will, theyre far heavier than I
had anticipated & I cant play hendrix on it atm which is dead
guttering.

I love Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, and the strat is by far my favorite guitar around.

The music sounds great, reminds me a lot of ACDC.
