Regarding the Portable Anquities Scheme, I lifted this from another forum. I have signed, any cause which protects amateur history and real culture at large deserves support!
Anyone know or care?

Its a scheme for assisting joe public and other weirdos in registering items of historical interest, treasure etc found while out and about on their daily business, these finds if worthy will then end up on display in local museums etc. Basically recording our history, something I'm relatively keen on

Its funding is under threat (1.4 million) compared to 50 million for pickled cows in the Tate, we could lose the pAS and keep f**king s**te "modern art".

Personally I don't give a s**t about the cows in the Tate, but I do use the PAS.
If anyone here cares or can be bothered, please add your monkier to the following petition at number 10.
Sign up and help protect thousands of potential artefacts from our nations long and illustrious history!

Yes it's a bad sentence but that's not the point. All these colonists coming in with sour grapes because they have like 5 seconds of history! Go and poison some Native Americans, you horrid people!

See! That's even more of a rip off than we initially thought.

(in fact it is animals bisected and pickled as the 2 halves, separately)

Actually, I'm quite fine with protecting history, but all I can do is state my approval, not living in the UK and all

Seems like a worthy cause, so I've given it my name.

You're right Nick, the sheep thing is to petty. Lets figure out which UK country it was that burned the great library down and caused the dark ages. Now that would be a truly paramount bit of history to remember.

Have you ever wondered just how far back into history you'd have to go to make a real change?

I mean, one human is so insignificant that perhaps you'd have to go back quite a distance to do anything impact worthy.

IMO, if someone would just go back and burn down that stupid apple tree as firewood s**t would be really nice about now.

I'd travel back to primordial Earth and destroy the first living organism.

Cassius said:

But, in being there wouldn't you leave some when you left?

Hell, just sluffing off skin cells would do something.

Besides, if you didn't destroy the soup making the organisms, they'd just show up again.

Clearly Cassius's attempt to destroy the first living organism spawned us all when the bacteria on that bit of skin cells he left spread and multiplied

Oddly, I had the exact same thought when writing that reply. The solution, however, is simple: send a robot.
