I just felt like letting you guys know I'm now a proud member of the Neotokyo team.

The mod, set in near-future Japan, is due for a Summer release, probably without any of my maps in the first release, though. There wasn't much media-hype recently, but behind the scenes everything's moving forward, with a working version of the mod already being tested (and a prototype version for UT2004 already released).

I've been looking for a mod team for a while now, and I'm very happy the guys at Neotokyo are giving me this opportunity. I'm very excited since the whole look and feel of this mod is very close to my personal taste and the team is very nice and super-dedicated.

This is a very ambitious mod Reap. Congrats on your going aboard. I look forward to lots of free texture/model packs from you since we are close friends here at the pit. .

But seriously though, finish Balcony before you edit one pixel of that mod!

Thanks, but fear not, I won't forget anything.

It's not that stressful, as even the Summer release isn't really a deadline for me. I'm mostly just trying to get an understanding of the mod right now so I can think of a layout/setting etc.

Congratulations.

After reading the information on the website, I am still unsure whether the mod is singleplayer, multiplayer or both? It would appear to be both singleplayer and multiplayer... is it?

Awesome deal reaper, but I'm curious: what made you want to join a mod team all of a sudden?

Yea, that irritates me as well.

It's a multiplayer mod, btw.

I always had an eye on this mod since I absolutely love it's style and atmosphere. So when I heard they're hiring, well, I gave it a shot!
