Hey people, been a long time since I've posted on these boards here, shame on me I know.

but I'm working on a project I thought some of the talented individuals (if they're still around) from snarkpit could help me out with.

I'm looking for someone, or a few people, to write a story about a subject, with almost 100% creative freedom other than the main theme, for me to base an album of fusion music around.

I want to do this to learn more about composing music and get some experience working with a theme to write music of other than random ideas in my head.

I want to learn this so I can eventally try to apply for a job in music composing for games / movies. So this project might be used as portfolio, where ofc the proper credit shall be given.

If you think you're any good in writing science fiction stories about multidimensional beings tha are planing to exterminate everything on earth / that kind of scene please reply here or send me an e-mail to Sebastian.Huskins 'AT' gmail.com and I'll give you more information to go on.

You don't need to be expeienced in this sort of thing ,if you think you're imginative enough to be up for it please feel free to apply.

I want to aim at about and hour to 75 minutes worth of music, so there need to be several things that happen over a longer period of time (say some years).

I'm not able to (as of yet) give any cash rewards, but credit will go to the writer with anything that is posted for the story, and maybe if it's success fully recorded (not a verry big chance since it takes alot of time / money to record stuff properly) there will be a cash fee as a thank you to the author.

Hope that's about clear, if any additional info is required just ask me through the above mentioned e-mail adress.

P.S.

sorry for not posting for such a long while goes back to hide udner his rock

hi JG, long time no see.

Wouldn't it be better to do this to a hl video or something, or would the editing involve too much extra time/effort?

It would be a cool idea, but i haven't touch a level editor in about 2 years now  if you know any people who happen to create such things? or have already and are willing to let me use them in this way

Hey mate, good to see you  Hows life treating you these days?

I think what fishy meant was to create a score to some existing gameplay, as opposed to for a custom level or whatever. I remember Microsoft had some contest once where they asked people to score a new soundtrack to any Xbox 360 game trailer - maybe you could go down that sort of route?

Hey! Nice to see some of the old faces again. Your project sounds interesting,
