I'd like to know where the original is from, though. Looks like an amazing bit of concept work, or a pretty detailed in-game shot from a different game. I don't like the desaturated look, though.

I dont care if its HL3 or not, I think the work is purdy. Look at the background work, the map.. it looks like something right out of Bladerunner.

until i see something one of those two places I'll just assume anything related to HL3 is hoax. the image is beautiful, reminds me of some of the concept art for "The Crossing"

IMO that lambda logo gives it away, being that it's almost identical to the HL2 logo.

we still haven't heard a peep from valve about HL2:Ep3, much less HL3.

still, the image is hawt.

That image most certainly looks like some concept art. Anyway, it doesn't make much sense to announce something Half-Life 3 related when they haven't really even announced a release date for Half-Life 2 Episode 3
