That's right.

Why?

Well, I've been having this leak that I just can't seem to find. I already tried to find it for more than an hour.
I've had many leaks before but this is just a very annoying one.

When I fixed this problem I will probably make some beta screenshots so you guys can have a look at what I've been working on the last few weeks.

Dear Diary,

Holy Crap, it's 2010 and I could care less, but it's bigger number than 2009.

I did not kiss a girl at midnight which was unfortunate, but I did have a few beers with some friends.

On a winner note, I have a leg of lamb that I get to foodsperiment with. This = TOP SCORE.

New HL1DM Map Coming

So in my previous entry, which is like half a year ago, I said I was working on a L4D survival map.
Well, tbh, I stopped working on that map. I came pretty far so who knows maybe I'll return to it someday, but for now, I'm working on a new HL1DM map.

But this time, I'm almost certain that I won't cancel this map, like I did with many others.
The progress of the map is around 60%, and you can expect some beta pictures soon here on The Snarkpit.

Holy crap I forgot about this, and also, you are now called Diary, which is excellent.

Christmas is almost here and I'm broke...yay.

On a lighter not, l4d2 is awesome and I am quit Architecture for a new major. I am thinking CIS.

I have to go study for my last architecture test ever.

Got Photoshop working on my new pc! =)

I didn't realize how much I relied on Photoshop until I got my new 64bit Vita pc only to find that CS3 doesn't seem to work on it. Finally today, I got myself a copy of Photoshop CS4 64 bit and it works great! All I need is a copy of Flash and my life will be complete.

Those were the dayzzzzzz

First Thought:

If Frodo Baggins ever has a son, I hope he doesn't name him Terrance. He'd put secretaries in awkward positions when going to job interviews. "Sir, are you ready for T. Baggins?".

Second Thought:

Pop-Tarts are packaged in pairs ... but a serving size is only one ... Dick move, Kellogg's.

Third Thought:

Thank God Infinity Ward labeled the Modern Warfare 2 special edition, "Hardened Edition" and not "Hard Edition" ... that could have been disastrous.

Ninth Thought:

Feminists complain that a bulk of imagery is phallic, but what about tunnels? Hermaphrodites have shoes.

Fifth Thought:

I found a box of crayons from when I was younger. The branding is "Bugs Bunny Crayons", it has a picture of Bugs Bunny on the front, but it has a picture of Chip, Dale, and Gadget from Rescue Rangers on the back. I wondered how could this be when only Disney is credited on the box, then I noticed it was made in China.

An Ode to Hammer

O Valve Hammer Editor, how art thy faithful ways.
Keeping close to heart and mind the many hours of days
I work and toil to carve and hollow my thoughts of environments and scenes
only to find those aspirations nullified with hurtful error messages plastered on my screens.

"**** leaked ****" It says; I screwed up! Oh no, what ever shall I do?
Not to worry said the man on the wiki, Valve's got a solution for you!
It's easy as one, two; just look in 'Map' and you'll find your trusty tool,
It's there waiting for you, the pointfile, way better than that old block method rule.
I'm finally in business, everything's A-Go! F9, check normal; developer in command,
No activity, what's the hold-up; what could go wrong; was it those models from props_wasteland?

Dot-by-dot, Rad inches along; I wait with glaring eyes,
At long last the game is starting, Good thing I've set it to full-size.
The map runs beautifully, I'm enjoying myself, but the lighting could use some work.
There's another issue there too. I'm gonna be here a while, might as well skip the homework.
Back to Hammer, must make changes, apply new values and work out all the knots.
Almost there; bug list checked; but ready to push the button? no, I have last minute thoughts.

Why am I so engaged, involved and downright addicted to this program with which I spend more hours than with friends?
Does it bellow from within where my secret desire to have godly powers from which forth it extends?
Or is it much simpler than that? Need I only look to the top of the page where I happen to be releasing this strife?
It must be because of the community, the community revolving around good old Half-Life.
