Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_powerstation

A small DM level for HL2dm. My way of learning to use hammer after radiant ;)

The fps isn't what I'd like ... but it serves me right for making yet another 'open' map. Really should know better by now but meh ... I just love the great outdoors :P Still, the fps is considrably better than what I get in sp hl2. And I do insist on running everything on 'highest' on a outdated gfx...

But the map is fun anyway. All the weapons are available (you'll have to hunt some out ;) ) and there's plenty of stuff to throw around.

I don't intend on revisiting this map anytime soon as I have to finish all my CoD maps. But I may if anything really nasty crops up (was fine in playtesting on my rather poor 512 adsl tho :P )

Ok this is a small deathmatch map set in a small little beach cove
I have pretty much finished it as a nice small map that didnt take too much effort :)

Anyway i left it at 99% seeing as i might as well get the opinion of you fellow mappers so tell me what you think from the screens ;)

It has seagulls as well to make it have that beach setting ;)

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch dm_cows

This is my first hl2dm which I think is good enough to release.
It's a sort of rural / farm based map.

The download is for the first beta version.
Screenshots are of the 2nd beta which is currently in progress.

Also:

Errors I've fixed are:
  • Lines in the skybox.
  • Missing texture under the cars.
  • Grass sprites in the skybox
  • Wheelbarrow shader
  • Ceiling of the house.
  • The huge shadow by the farmhouse.
  • Couple of smaller errors
Improvements:
  • Covered up all the visible displacement map seams.
  • Tripled the amount of terrain in the 3d skybox.
  • Changed some of the props and amount of them in the kitchen
  • Added ceiling supports and reduced the room size in the farmhouse.
  • Added slightly more detail to the farmhouse.
  • Some more trees.
  • Working gas canisters.
Any feedback or suggestions are welcomed.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch POW Camp

For those out there that don't know it, POW stands for Prisoner of War. This map is not based on any other map that existed before depicting a POW camp or a Concentration camp. The design is completely original and it came mostly out of real pictures that express the general atmosphere and design of the buildings in a POW camp. This is my first map so I hope you enjoy it.

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Freeway to C17

Freeway to C17 - By Tom Rudderham
On the outskirts of City 17 a battle rages on an abandoned freeway.
Use the burning cars and trash as cover, and the subways for shelter and safety as the battle rages above!
Map includes a hidden hideaway, tank, trees to hide in and a ton of detail.

Known issues:
Non yet, let me know if you find any!
Requires a fairly hefty PC because of the amount of detail and physics.

This is a small map where the terrorists and the counter terrorists are going to fight each other. The map structure is taken from de_ion wich is a map I made for cs. The map is curently for HL2DM but will be converted over to CS Source when its done (24.Des).
