Counter Strike Source Breakout

There are 2 versions.

Version 1

This is smaller map based off Tstar's breakfloor map layout with ramps on the walls. Though in this version even the wall and ramps are breakable with enough bullets. The bricks are your floor and is slowly being destroyed from under you. You must reach and eliminate the other team. There are 2 ledges you can safely(?) stand on with notches in the middle of each ledge you can use to control the paddle.

Version 2

In this more themed version you are inside a monitor playing a game of breakout. The bricks are your floor, and is slowly (and sometimes quickly) being destroyed from under you. You must reach and eliminate the other team. A game score is kept for the amount blocks that have been destroyed during gameplay. Since the wall blocks are tougher they are worth 5 points.

Notice:

1. Hostages are like penguins. They can't use ladders.
2. If You want to have a fun, play with many players on this map. It's a little big one.

Briefing:

Terrorists have taken control over the science laboratory somewhere in Arctic. They planning to escape with the new type of virus and sell them at the black market. They attacked when some of blocks of the complex are closed, and at the night when there isn't many guards. The silent alert has been activated and counter-terrorists are coming. Terrorists have taken four hostages to try a trade with CTs.

About the map:

This map is dedicated to CS:S servers with many slots (CT/T spawns: 32 - max players: 64). The map is a little big so I think 3 minutes per round isn't correct time to rescue the hostages with breaking through the enemy lines. 4 or even 3.5 minutes should be OK. Generally there are 3 ways to hostages, but only 2 You can use to transport hostages (they can't use a ladder). You have to get them on the helipad or to APCs (2 rescue zones).

Counter Strike Source cs_gentech_final

Star map!
(I released this map several months ago, then kind of forgot about it. Now that I'm back doing mapping again, I've decided to post it on some sites to see how people like it...)

This is the final version of my map cs_gentech (originally called cs_atlas). I'm calling it 'final' because I'm trying to move on to other projects...

The map was made with lower-end computers in mind, so you won't find tons of props and fancy geometry, and there is no HDR support.

There are a total of 40 spawnpoints in the map, to help support servers with higher player counts. However, it seems to play best with around 16 players.

I also included a version of the map with no buyzones or hostages, suitable for GG or CSDM.

Counter Strike Source de_arcticstorm

This is modifyed cs_arcticstorm to "de_" version (with bombsites). There are some new places (hole in the wall, new elevator and additional corridor upstairs. Now terrorists start outsite facility closer to complex enterance.

BRIEFING:

Terrorists are trying to destroy important facility - the complex of chemical and biological laboratories. Also here are made wiruses...

OBJECTIVES:

Counter-Terrorists: It's very important to prevent this secret facility from destruction. For sure all personel has been evacuated by helicopter.

Terrorists: These bustards are making danger weapon. We have to blow them up!

Briefing:

Terrorists attacked a city restaurant taking hostages. They want to take away with restaurant's chief, to do an execution.

Police don't know that this man cooperates with mafia, that is hostile for attacking terrorists. Someone saw two trucks with armed mens in. They call police and gave terrorists' movement direction. Police informated by phone restaurent's menager to evacuate building. Counter-terrorist vehicles arrived before terrorists take control on all restautrant. Manager and some his personel want escape after take money. It was too late...

Counter-terrorists' objectives are to take 4 hostages to hostage rescue zone to police apc.

About:

File able to download is within bots waypoints (.nav type), and map file offcourse (.bsp type), 3 new textures (Hessi's france_wood2, and two logos - first from building, second is in secret area) (7 texture files), and text file, and also soundscape file. File size: 3.14 MB (rar type).

Counter Strike Source fy_station

Players: 32

A 3 level map based around an old station for a petroleum company. The 3 levels comprise of sewers, the ground level (mostly outside, plus a corridor and storage room), and an office on the first floor. Has a rainy enviroment with some distant fog, part hillside part city location.

Lots of routes and a lot more complicated/fun than iceworld/poolparty. Took about 3-4 weeks to make.

Give it a go on your servers, it's sure to be a good'un.

There are some more pictures in the related link, plus some of the first try. I've optimised it, average FPS was 60+ (lowest 40-50fps).

Terrorists have discovered a weakness in the power grid that supplies power to a nearby nuclear weapons facility. A main power feed that runs through an old abandoned mental hospital has been targeted for destruction, to cut power to security and backup systems, and give an opportunity to comrades to break in. Counter-Terrorists have intercepted this intelligence and will attempt to thwart the deadly bombers.

This map will be the second map I have/will spend major time on. The goal of this map is to create a Counter-Strike map that is truly eerie and creepy for both teams to navigate through. Set at night, in the ruins of an old abandoned mental hospital, this map will incorporate spooky lighting, scary sounds and overall immerse the player in a very haunted, uninviting and uncomfotable surrounding. Real atmosphere and depth are what i'm striving for becuse i feel that there arent enough counterstrike maps that have that dramatic feel that do a good job of providing exciting gameplay. My map aims to accomplish both as best as possible.

Knife map, needs beta testing. Arena allows one player per team to enter.

There are two buttons on each side that, when pressed at the same time, break open the map so everyone can knife.

Counter Strike Source cs_darkroom_b3

cs_darkroom_b3 includes elements of a real photography darkroom. The map is very simple but gives players enough options to choose their game play style (i.e. stealth, sniping, closeup action, rushing etc.).

The structure of the map is in place, I just need to go in and add some aesthetic pieces so it is not just a box.
Known problems:
-The shadow of a person on the roof is seen through the ceiling against the wall in the darkroom. (seems to be more of a source engine problem)
-cubemaps need to be reworked to fix a few reflection problems.
