Day of Defeat Source Dod_Dockyard_1945

Scenario

It is May 1945 and Allied troops have reached the Kriegsmarine U-Boat base in Hamburg, Northern Germany. This is the last European submarine base still in Axis hands.

Although the end of the war seems imminent, crack German troops have fortified the base and are determined that it should not fall into Allied hands.

Objectives

Allies

Secure the base by capturing all five flag points.

Axis

Defend the base to the last man and to the last bullet.

i seem to make a lot of remakes for old games into source. im not sure why, its either that i really want to play that map on the source engine and it was never made, or the ones out there are terrible reconversions.

anyway ive always loved merderet on dod and i havent ever seen a server play one for source.

this is playable but it is still in beta for detail work and playability.

NOTE: as far as i know ive only used base content on this map so there shouldnt be any missing textures and such, but let me know if you see anything!

A little dod map which i created for a contest.

The goal of the contest was to build a little aim_ type map, but an aim map without orange textures.

A small bridge type map in a rural setting. Three flags, with the middle flag on the bridge requiring two men to cap it.
I used a few tree models by flashy[nl]. The mortar models are by sturgeon. There may be models by someone else too, so I'll need to sort out a proper readme before I make this final.

A smallish arena type map, consisting mostly of displacement surfaces and prop models. Made mainly as a bit of stress relief, and a distraction from another map I've been working on that's starting to twist my nipples.

I stopped working on this when weird stuff started happening after rotating the map for an overview picture. There's very little chance that there will be an update beyond b_5. Considered, now, as a finished map.

This map is my first serious multiplayer map. It takes place in a French campaign during the winter 1944 (20 december to be precise). It?s a detonation map, where Axis must attack and where Allies must defend their positions.

Day of Defeat Source dod_stammlager_b3

dod_stammlager is my next huge mapping project.

After learning a lot of stuff about structures, architecture and the like with my old cs_metropolis project, I decided to put my learned effort into making a map for Day of Defeat: Source.

dod_stammlager is based on the Auschwitz I camp, which was officially called "Stammlager". Stammlager was the working camp (no extermination) where prisoners were put into brick barracks and kept working in dehumanizing conditions. After breaching through Auschwitz, the last remaining Axis have to defend their Kommandatur (The camp's administration quarters) as the Allies try to recapture the whole camp and free the prioners.

dod_stammlager is NOT a fictional map. All the architecture is based on blueprints and thorough researchs of the Auschwitz camps.

Day of Defeat Source Dod_Abancourt_FINAL

This is a small, battle-torn town. The allies have attempted to take it once already, to be pushed back. But, now with a thick heavy fog the time to strike has come. Can the axis hold them back?

**UPDATES**

This is the newest and final version of Abancourt. After listening to the players, I have heavily optimized this version, doubling the FPS to better then the standard maps (dod_flash, dod_colmar ,etc.). I have removed the broken building on the waterfront and added a fortified emplacement to aid the allies in holding back the axis, balancing gameplay. Stretegically improved the placement of props or brushes, also fixed any obvious flaws brought to my attention.

This is my second map, which is a whole lot better then my first, dod_deathbox2. Teleports, skyboxes, and so much more in this map. I hope you enjoy, and make sure you distribute it!
