I have two related questions:
1) How do I import custom vtf & vmt files into Hammer?
2) When compiling, how do I include those textures in the map file?
I'm using Nem's Tools to compile. Is there anything for the Source compile tools similar to the -wadinclude and -nowadtextures stuff from HL1? And whatever the command is, does it include -all custom textures- from whatever source, or just those in use by that map?
thanks

1) You put them in the materials folder.
2) I don't know, but I remember it was addressed on the hl2 editing forum. (I think)
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

ah, okay, sounds like you don't have to deal with embedding content until you are ready to distribute. I will probably just hold off on that for now, then.
and I -think- I can figure out how to import them now, thanks guys!
