Its been years. I need a resumable downloader program. Does anyone have any top shelf suggestions?

I seem to have one of those 56 connections to where it periodically logs itself off when not active or some such. In other words, if I try to download something overnight while I sleep, its off when I wake up in the morning and my download, fails.

Yes, I can google it, but would prefer some insight from the Snarkpit members.

Thanks for your time.

I used to use GetRight for a download manager. It's pretty full
featured, perhaps too much so if you just want something that lets you
resume, but I've never had any complaints about it. It can almost
certainly reconnect automatically and continue the downloads if you
wanna leave them overnight.

i used to use flashget when I was on a 56k it was the resume downloads
option and it will search for multiple connections from multiple
sources so it gets the best speed possible.

Next question, if I try more than one you think they might clash? Should I wait to see if anyone suggest another program before I install one of these two?

Its been so long. I swear I had one with an animals name.
