ve made a dungeon out of displacements. I have a light_enviornment outside and when I go into the dungeon I notice this light gets through some places, usually around the edges where the displacements overlap. I'm doing fast compile to test the map, which may have somthing to do with it.
If not what is the best way to get rid of this? I'm thinking of just encasing the tunnel in a solid wall to block the light, any more efficient way?

Thanks.

that's exactly what you should do. not only will it block light, it will also block vis, and should help give you better framerates. as no-one will see the walls that you make, you should cover them with the 'nodraw' texture.

Just for future info you can block light out by making a brush and covering it with the block light texture.
