Those aren't very good pictures to be honest. I can hook you up with something better if you like, i've got over 100 artists on my bookmarks.

i submit, hit refresh 3 mins later and already a reply. ha. anyway.. those are just the poses. i wouldn't put either of those images on my body! found them on devart.

i've looked for a while for realistic foxes on tattoo artists' sites, but could never really find one i like. if you know of any artists that might be good with this sort, gimme a holler with a link? =D

gonna get a tattoo? Just remember that you have 60 more years of life with whatever it is. My brother is all tatooed up and he is gonna look like newsprint transfered to silly putty and stretched out. lol. My advice: get it somewhere where people can never see it unless you WANT to show it to them.

I have but 2 bits of advice.

1) Tattoos are nasty things. Don't get one.
2) If you intend to disregard that advice, get a credible tattoo artist. Non-credible establishments abound all to frequently. You can, and most likely will catch something from these types. Look into the artist, very carefully.

/ 2 cents.

Remember, that tatoo is for LIFE! You will be stuck around with it for YEARS AND YEARS! I would spend more than 1 month or so on finding a tatoo that you will have for 60 YEARS! Dont just shove on some random dodgy fox.

Anyway, good luck/

Tattoos can be removed via laser surgery, but it's expensive and painful. So a tattoo definitely doesn't have to be for life.

Permanent or no, just be careful Tim. They are, or can cause all kinds of issues. Psychological and physical.

I have one. Only one. Its my wifes name. I took a serious chance getting it because it was done at home, and I might not have been married forever. (This September 5th, will be 25 years)

Its a non-intrusive tattoo, and I often forget I have it. Many a time someone would ask, "Your wifes name is Brenda?"

I'd look at them like "How'd you know?"

Its on your arm....

Anyway, chose your options carefully.

I think you know about the permanence of tatoos yourself, so all I say on this topic is that I wouldn't get one myself. A tatoo for something that has already past and will probably stay in good memory for the rest of your life sounds like one of the better excuses for a tatoo, though, especially if you put it somewhere where people only see it if you want them to.

I'd go with the sitting fox. He looks somewhat more stylish. Are you sure you want a realistical drawing? A stylized, black version with just basic shapes for the head and tail would look pretty cool. Just make sure the proportions look... foxy (?) enough!

when you get a tattoo removed via laser surgery, it doesn't get rid of the tattoo, it just gets rid of the COLOR of the tattoo. It replaces the colors with a red scar in the chape of the tattoo. Plus it costs like $10,000

I've seen that design before Tim. Its a chicks tattoo, not a guys.

Foxes are cool, but that design belongs on the shoulder blade of a woman.

Just thought you'd like to know.

out on catalina island, there's a YMCA camp by the name of Fox Campus, or Camp Fox. when i was younger (9-15ish?) i went out for a week at a time every summer as a guest.. it was awesome. so at 16 i applied for a volunteer position there, and eventually worked my way into a paid position. anyway.. i ended up spending my entire summers there, and many of my first experiences were there. "i learned a bit about livin a lot about love". haha now i even go out on weekends or whenever i'm not working, because i'm running short on time nowadays. soon my mainland life is going to have to take priority, and i wont be able to be there. i was once told that i have a bad habit of forgetting the things that mean the most to me, so i want to get something to make sure that doesnt happen. and to pick up chicks.

orph, i know the guy that designed the outline for himself.. the GUY. =P thanks for the concern though.

I have seen a similar tattoo on a chick. Be choosy, you'll have to deal with it for a while.

If you want a (somewhat) manlier fox you could maybe steal the Metal
Gear Solid foxhound one... as long as you don't mind the reference.
