I have five runs to make this week. One daily.

Glen Carbon is a suburb of Saint Louis Missouri. Its on the east side, just across the river.

I fear, it may drift toward St. Louis too.
Its been raining steady for 3 days here, and cold. Not Omaha cold, but we were in the 80's recently.

<DIV class=quotetext>Dude! I'll be in St. Louis tomorrow (monday, mar 20.) </DIV></DIV>

I will be in Glen Carbon approximately 12 noonish. Possibly as late as 2 pm. It is 375 miles and I will be leaving at about 7:30 am

The address is 17 commercial court, Glen Carbon Illinois.

Its a bus barn behind a bunch of car lots off of I-270 exit 12.

Look it up via mapquest.

Be there if you can.

[EDIT]

@Nickel

I got to thinking after we hung up the phone that if you cannot make it to St. Louis because of the weather, that I will be there Tuesday-Thursday as well.

Like I said, I have 5 runs to make, and I hope that I can do them in 4 days.

Be careful.

For the past week I have been shuttling busses between Tulsa Oklahoma and Conway Arkansas. Thats the cities where they build the things and they needed some moved.

Sadly, my visit to see Monqui was delayed for a day and... We couldn't hook up. I have all the luck.

Be interested in meeting you Orph, but unless some ridiculously strange
stroke of luck brings you to Troup, Texas (which is probably never
gonna happen; I've only seen this town on one map and that was a
poster-sized map of Texas) stop by. In a year or so I'll be moving to
Longview, TX, so I might have a SLIGHTLY better chance of meeting you.

We deliver to "Tyler" very seldom.
We deliver to "Nacogdoches" seldom
We deliver to "Orange" often.

Highway 59 is the most advantageous route. You are very close to that path. In fact, I turned down a run to Orange last week. You could have had a visit then had I known.

Maybe next time. But, you have to be over 18.

If that happens it happens but, its not worth driving over 1,900 miles for...Or is it?

Anyway, no.. The Hoover Dam is there and the wife is going with me so she can see it and the lights of the nightsky in Vegas. If I have time, I might take her to the Grand Canyon too.

She hasn't seen any of those sights... Excepting the topless woman each night in the mirror. Somehow the sight doesn't hold the same allure for her.

Can't imagine why

But I'd go for the Grand Canyon over the Hoover Dam. I've been to both, and while the Hoover Dam is pretty grand, the Grand Canyon is just 100000 times better. Pictures of the Dam do it justice, but until you've taken the hike into the canyon, you haven't lived.

I've been to both and agree whole heartedly. The issue is time. I have to stay with the bus during the show and will only have a few hours. The canyon is much further away than the dam is from Vegas.

Ah. On a few hours then I'd go to the dam. We took 4 or 5 days and didn't see as much of the canyon as we would have liked.

I have NickelPlate, Juim, Monqui, Bewbie and Doc Brasso phone numbers.

Invitations to do lunch from each plus, possible visits in the future with KFS, Jinxy, Spartan and Doc Glass.

Its sad. I travel in excess of 100,000 miles each year and its so difficult to coincide with anyone online. Our lives are so hectic.

I'll be glad when you guys finally settle down after school to a full time job. At least it will be more stable than a school schedule is. The added benefit that it will assure that you are over 18 is a plus too.

I would like to add one footnote: I may have you'all's phone numbers but I also hate telephones. Please do not consider me rude if I do not just phone and talk very often.

You can count on both hands how many times I have talked to Monqui, Brasso and Nickel. Its always enjoyable to be sure but about as infrequent as you can get.

I am not anti-social. I just have this thing against phones.
