Just stumbled across this webpage linking to the top 10 coolest things found by people using Google Earth. For those who haven't seen it, Google Earth lets you move around and zoom in (to an incredible level in places) anywhere anywhere on the planet. Sometimes the satellites just happen to have picked up humourous or incredible sights as they take their photos...

Wow, that was cool. Especially the one with the naked lady and the close up shot of the camels.

The wheat fields by Stavropol, Russia used to be Octagonal. I dunno if they still are... But that looks cool.
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

Still a sweet site.

There is a giant hole in the ground some where near siberia that used to be a diamond mine. It looks pretty cool.

Its near Mirny (or Mirnyj), Russia. Pretty hard to miss if you can find the city, as the hole is bigger than the city.

Yeah, there are also a couple cool ones of planes inflight, and there's a massive forest fire somewhere in the east.

I remember the flying car. It filled pages of blog-posts. And it's just a black car. Pfff
