Yea, but it still doesn't really seem right to me that a body that is not a government organisation can do this kind of thing, even if they do have a court order saying they are allowed to do it. It's almost like the police contracting work out.

Orph, I believe you're looking for the MPAA, not the RIAA. Though I wouldn't doubt that the RIAA has taken it upon themselves to rid the earth of everyone who has ever downloaded music, movies, games, or free offline versions of MSN games.
