Very nice, can't say i was familiar with align to view really so it's nice to finally have that explained and you may have noticed my texture alignment accross corners somewhat lacking in places in my maps :P
It wasn't too wordy either which is always good. A good read, keep them coming!

Good tut, I really dont have a problem with this, mainly because I start brush work first with one texture, then I go through texturing everything fom scrach, Doing it this method doesnt create this problem.

Excellent tutorial, I think I had to read it over twice to fully understand but, I really like this method and will be practicing on upcoming levels.

I learned something new by reading this. That is all too rare, so top marks to the Squirrel!

Very nice applauds. So what's this you say about conic sections? We've just finished this in pre-calc class, and I'd love to actually use something I learned there...

By 'conic sections' I simply mean any cylindrical brushwork that is not aligned to the vertical or horizontal grid - for example, the small lips on the tank in the final example. It works best if the section is proportionately small (i.e. trying to align textures this way on an actual cone/spike won't work so well), and so it usually comes in handy on trims and bevels,
