It seems the word "snark" has made it into the English lexicon now as a mix between "snide" and "remark"

Definition here.

-Not good for us! -It would mean we make sarcastic remarks for every post!

Well, I had heard 'snarky' long before HL days. And it was in the same context as what you listed.
