                        I agree with Aaron, if anything, I'm glad it's still being developed at all.  It's been in dev for a freakish long time.

                        I dont get why this mod is taking so long to be released. Its not like they're developing a new game from scratch or from an abstract concept, a lot of the levels and layouts are already there, like wise the models and weapons are already sketched out.
I could be wrong that they're copying the game as a whole, and they're doing their own interpretation, but from what I've seen the levels, models, weapons are all reproductions of the original half life. Granted texture work will have to be done from scratch, but this has been in talk since HL2 was released. That ~5 years ago.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to see the original story in an updated engine, but even now the engine is ~5 years old, and the longer they wait to release anything the older/dated the source engine becomes.
