There's nothing wrong with flash when used correctly, however since that usually never happens, hatred is well shared.
I'll start downloading now.
[EDIT]
I just started downloading it . . . 20 minutes for me

I played it a couple hours ago. Wow, I'm actually impressed. The game play isn't as easy as it seems in the videos. The physics are pretty good. I liked the exploding barrels and such.
This is way better then quake or doom (don't know about three obviously). Even though its simular it has its own factors of fun, however there's no damn crouch (just like Quake).
but Jesus, I played chapter III and it's just nuts. There's enemys coming from all directions and your weapons aren't really enough to drive them off, not to mention the game has a really good physics engine (Havok2) so things act (Trajectory wise) pretty realistically, however, it would be nice if they gave the distance, so you could judge accordingly. But overall, it's fun as hell, there's not a dull moment, however the enemy waves get WAY too repeditive. I think I'll have to see the full game to really understand the set up and enjoy it. I'd probably buy it, just not at 50 bucks (U.S.), maybe used or something from EBX when it's like 35 bucks.
However, the graphics are pretty. Well, not literally, because there's massive gore, but they're very tentilising.
Oh, something that would have kicked ass is if you could jump on your steaks from the steak gun. that would rock. but you can't . . . all you can do is pin up enemys with it lol (it's really brutal too, it calculates the intesity based on how far away you are, the enemy practically explodes in point blank range, a few paces away and the enemy becomes two pieces, any further back they just get harpooned.)
I give it (based on the Demo) a solid B. Looks fun and plays fun, but how much fun is fun after four straight hours of the same "fun" gameplay?
[EDIT]
Jinx put it well, it seems very Linear. (The other mission they have on there is rather linear as well, but now you're being attacked from all sides, with enemies who rush you.)

Crono: It's likely you won't have to pay $50 for it. It seems to be taking a stab into that Serious Sam area, sort of like Jinx mentioned, and that series (and later entries to that genre such as Will Rock) have hit shelves at prices as low as $19.99. Also, with Dreamcatcher (a non-major studio primarily focused away from the FPS genre) publishing, look for at most 39.99, with 29.99 entirely possible.

Yay, I get to be cheap when I buy it!! lol
30 bucks new, sounds good to me. It would definatly be worth it then, I mean it is fun.
Dammit, Vash . . . were's my cd? lol (jk)
On a related note, I bought Return to Castle Wolfenstein yesterday, because it was 15 bucks, but, I don't really know why now . . . I mean it's fun and all (Except for the bullet trajectory), but now I've got a new demo that needs a workin'
[EDIT]
Also, I think I should turn my brightness up in game . . . mine actually looked like night time lol.

Today at Gamestop we got the promo material for this game, the very day I heard about it and tried the demo. My manager gave me one of the employee demo CDs, though it's probably the same as what is available online.
You can see all the weapons listed in the control settings where you can set priority over each. Some site listed there being 5, but there's actually 10 - 2 in each category. Apparently 3 are in the demo...? Maybe?
Also, Jinx, apparently you can hit both primary and secondary at the same time with the stake gun and send a stake with grenade towards your target? That was what a co-worker said; he had been reading about it just the other day. Could be wrong. I have to go test that one myself.
EDIT: Okay, maybe it really is only 5 guns/weapons with each function a separate primary/secondary. Also looked into the double-shot stake/grenade bit, no luck. Turns out the demo includes 3 maps and 4 weapons. Map 3 = EEEP. But good god, physics rule. When you get there, don't forget to shoot a stake or two at the sections of wall that you can. There's some really cool destructive environment options in the second map, too.
Also, in playing through the full 3 maps, in each map I managed to trigger a duration of Absolute Power (tm). I tried to get a screen, but was too... Absolutely Powerful (tm). Those of you who have gotten it will understand. I have no idea how it works, but its kinda like, say, Blood Rage from Bloodrayne. Everything slows down, your view goes greyscale and all blurry, and anything in your crosshair when you click explodes into a shower of gibs.
Speaking of exploding, have fun finding the fireworks bags as well...
All in all, very Serious Sam, but at a slower and more deliberate pace. Enemies in the demo are nicely varied and very challenging (particularly the heavier armored ones) and extra items and goals for each map keep you busy. I think the weapons are enough fun to keep someone occupied, at least in the demo, so I'll be interested to see the full version. Try it!

I got one for you all... Try using the lightning attack and use your primary fire mode at the same time, and you'll shoot out an electrified spear thing that makes for some very fun traps. It electrocutes anything that gets near it, so I suggest you try it out  (palace level, with the spear gun)

I had to play it with almost everything on minimum, but i still entertained myself for a bit. It's not my prefered style of gameplay, I'd love a single player co-op though.

The game slows to a crawl on my PC and then speeds up suddenly again. This makes it very hard to play, not to mention annoying.
Might be good fun if I had the machine to do it justice, although I can't imagine this style of gameplay lasting for a whole game.
