Upon moving into a new part of our office building, I found an old painting in a coat closet.. framed and everything. It's about 2'x5', and an original. I really like it.. and seems like it could be worth a lot of money. Funny thing is.. It's got Brasso's name on it. lol. I spent like an hour researching who this 'brasso' artist is, and all I found is him being referred to as an "award-winning spanish artist". Does this look familier to anybody?

I too have paintings by this artist, Brasso. I've had them for a few years now. I've been trying for years to find more information on the artist. I have seen many people that have Brasso paintings with some sort of tag on the back indicating that it won an award. I was wondering where you had this appraised. And if you would mind posting a picture of your painting. The 2 that I have are incredibly similar to many others that I have seen via forums, but there are subtle differences that do indicate they aren't machine printed replicas which I have also seen people comment. Any sort of information would be awesome. I would love to know more about these goodwill treasures that I found. Thanks!

I, too, have an oil painting signed by the artist Brasso, about two by five feet, a Paris street scene with the Arch of Triumph in the background. On the back, an old piece of paper stapled to the frame documenting the painting and the painter. Brasso, born in Barcelona March 6, 1921. Winner, tercera medalla nacional. But internet search reveals nothing more about this artist, except for posts such as this. Any answers?
