In case you haven't gotten it already, do so immediately.

It's an amazing piece of craftsmanship. Visually, it tops every game in recent memory. That's especially astounding given that it's on the Source engine. This is far and above the best mapping ever done for a Valve mod, and if your memory is good enough for you to recall how critical I am, you'll know how much that means coming from me. It isn't free -- it costs just short of ten dollars -- but it's worth that and much more.

It looks great. Is it a game or an "interactive story"?

I don't think its an interactive story because I don't think you have any say in what happens, I think its just an exploration game with a guy telling you about what happened in the different places

I just played through the retail version. A truly beautiful, artful, moving experiment. Not sure what to call it - it's certainly not a game, but it's a remarkable experience none the less.

You must have the most sinister avatar ever! :geek: I am tempted to buy this based on what you guys have said, sounds like a nice piece of escapism. I'm guessing no shooting is involved?

Just played a part of the game in the cave, it was truly wonderful.

Also, for the ones who already completed it:

There have been people who spotted some ghostly figures. Sometimes they are there, sometimes they are not. But they mostly appear on the same locations. However, as I said it's random if they are there. One has even heard one saying "Oh my god" when he put the volume very loud.

I'm proud to say it's a self-portrait.

-Well, now I'm utterly convinced to play this mod! After all these years, I thought it was just a really cool drawing. But it's also a self-portrait?! If only we all were so menacing -(looking). :pirate:
