tis a shame that i know nothing about skins to give an honest/educated opinion
but i have to say, that if Neanderthals wore camo, they'd prolly look like this..
in a crude way, i like it, and if i still fragged, I'd be happy to wander around tossin a few MP5's with this skin displayed

This is looking better already I can tell the remake will look tons better. If you want to make the skin seem a bit more defined you could use the sharpness tool set to about 3% intensity. It will bring out the lines you already started. Just be careful of the white outs. The green shoulder pads could use a little grain to them. You could do that with the grain filter but, I use a bit different method to for grain. I made a brush that just has specs of dirt and dust. Then I just add multiply to the mode and paint on a little dust. If your going for clean try and make the color your painting with about 4 shades lighter. That way when you use Multiply at 15 % intensity there is not a drastic change. If you want I can send you the brush I use for grain.

I've seen uber worse skins in professional games, so I give it 1 and a half thumbs up. The fact I've grossly disfigured myself in the process has to tell you its not bad
As Fox1 said, the shoulder pads look too smooth and shiny compared to the rather detailed armour and face, which holds the whole thing back. I think the whole thing will look a ton better once the hair is gone too. Perhaps you could tinker with the model to make it short hair / skinhead? Personally I think the stubble looks good, and therefore you could prolly pull off a decent skinhead

(ReNo- Shoulder pads haven't been started yet- read the caption in the first piccy  ).
I kinda like his eyes... I've always had a thing for people with grey eyes... It's just cool. But they look a bit too dead at the moment... Generally the pupil is much darker/a little bit larger... Other than that, looks a helluva lot better. Nice work.

My pupils are huge almost all of the time, which is quite strange according to my optician. And I have no idea why I didn't notice that caption monqui, I read the whole post thoroughly before posting. Silly me.

Since we're on the topic of eye-oddities, have excessively oily eyes. It's really great when I get this pocket of oil forming underneath a little membrane on my eyes and can't shut/open 'em without pain until it either breaks (it's painless at that point, so it's not too bad) or subsides. My opticion has no idea why it does that... but it makes it a pain in the ass to wear contacts (they get all gummed up real fast).
It's starting to slow down as time goes on, I haven't had it happen in a few months now. I'll blame puberty.

I can make my eyes vibrate ever so slightly. It's the greatest party trick ever, and very easily grosses people out. The ultimate weapon.

Probably the best part of having an ability like that is watching other people who can't do it try to imitate you.

Yer I can make my eyes shivver... actually I learnt how to do it off Lep. I remember him and his m8 used to do it and I always wanted to, and I worked out its basically doing a muscle spasm in your eye. Like when you make you leg vibrate or hand vibrate (don't twist the meaning) you just do the same with your eye muscles... Looks really freaky and yes, its a good party trick

i would never let anyone near my eyes with a needle. NEVER. but i know someone who had the same thing done, if they look to the left ya can see a kinda patch.
that eye shiver is R.E.M (rapid eye movement). some can do it others cant. its where the band got their name

yea, ur right, R.E.M seams to be restricted to sleep, but isint this the same thing, bar that your awake and not dreaming? its still a spasam of the eye in both cases. iv seen it being done, it is creapy. i can still see those eyes... make them stop.
Soo, any updates on the textureing?

How dare you try to return the thread to being on-topic! Insolence! (Translation: No updates. Been mapping.)
Hmm, I've never heard of this R.E.M thing (other than the band). Anyone have a link to a video possibly? Sounds creepy.

It's supposed to snow tonight here, a bit. It's raining right now, and it's cold as feck, so I can see it happening.

uh, my friend's eyes do that about 70% of the time without him even trying to make them. His eyes flick backwards and forwards quickly and quite noticeably. He doesn't notice anything strangely, and of course when he looks in the mirror his eyes remain still.
I'm going to film him one day.

I can make my eye shift side to side really well, only problem is it dizzies me sometimes  I can also raise both eyebrows alternatingly and higher than other people I know. As well as I can pull the ol' Elvis lip.

Could be fun, though..
