It doesn't suck, but I think it could do with a bit more contrast/saturation. Also, I don't think many people use 800*600 these days...

get some super sharpening effects or tasteful use of lens flare/lighting filters around the cloud thingummy, it will help it stand out a bit more :smile:

that pic reminds me of the fire wavefront on ID4, when the ships were coming in from orbit :smile:

Hey... I used to use it... lol... now I moved 1 step higher though to 1024*728

Adjust the levels (mainly) on that some more. The fire looks pretty faded and dull. More vibrance-ness!

Yup as the others have said, the flames still aren't vibrant enough. To me it could almost be seen as clouds due to its lack of intensity. Play around as the others have suggested.

A little more variation in color in the background would help make it stand out as well. This has the makings of something great for a wallpaper. Stick to it and keep us updated!
