It's like one of those old adventure games.

You are standing west of house.
Go in house.
What is "house"?

get flask
<Ye cannot get ye flask.

"And you have to wonder why you cannot get ye flask because the game isn't going to tell you."

<I'm not going to tell ye

Anyway, vader, are you sure MSN isn't just being weird? Such as, I can't autologin ever. I have to manually type my password every time. It always says its not valid, but it is, try manually logging in.

Oh. Well then there is no way to 'recover' the password. It's obviously someone you know, or someone who doesn't like you lol.

The only other thing I'd suggest is emailing Hotmail Staff about the issue, and they'll probably try to get you to 'upgrade' as well, so watch out

You should be punched in the face. But getting caught by Microsoft and being sued would work too ... just email them.

email your situation, with proper english and grammar (just more likely to be helped that way) to abuse@hotmail.com

They deal in threatening letters and such, there is no specific address for someone stealing your account, so I would think that one would work too.

Also, they'll most likely tell you 'sorry' because you have absolutly no proof that it was yours ... its not like you can show them picture ID or anything like that.

They'll most likely tell you you have to make a new account. Which blows, but. One piece of advice, and I'm not going to tell you how to do this, because it's on the hotmail site, but you should learn how to sign in using SSL, it will make it less likely that someone will get ahold of your password and such. Also, run a virus scanner to see if there are any keystroke recorders installed on your computer, just in case.

call me lucky, but i have used ICQ for almost 4 years when i ran [DRS] with no issues at all..

i have use MSN since i left [DRS] with absolutely no issues either.

i am beginning to believe people bad mouth these two programs in much the same way as microsoft.. mostly baseless gossip mongering in favor of other programs peer's use.

i don't doubt there is some authentic reasons for the complaints, but none in my experiences.

i think i will stick to what works for me.

in fact ICQ has some of the best real time conference abilities i have yet encountered, a MUST when running a clan the size [DRS] was back then.. its real time voice abilities also saved me many dollars in phone calls.. the only reason i don't use ICQ is all the people i had in the contact list brought up bad memories of my departure from the clan. i checked it recently, my account is still active after 2 years of non-use.
