Be sure to check out the video tutorials available through 3dbuzz.com. These are very useful and it's immensely helpful to see and be told about what you're doing in real time as you do it.

I'm gonna star writing my JK2 Radiant set-up tutorial.

Question for Lep: where should I post it ?

Maybe you should make the Quake 3 / Jedi Knight options available, or just change the name from CoD -> Radiant Editor.

I know, but that would be a little to much work, aye ?

If you just put a prefix "COD: tutorialblablah" in your tutorials, wouldn't that be easier ?

OK. Working on it.

Radiant is a real pain in the *ss when you start using it for the first time, (Damn textures won't extract from the PAK-files, The grid always shows up wrong, and the 3D view controls suck) but after a while you get used to it, and discover the real things that make Radiant a great editor: comprehensive entities, shaders, ...

Couple of websites I go to for Call of Duty 4 mapping tutorials:
Modsonline.com has a lot of tutorials for many games.
http://modsonline.com/Tutorials-list-17.html
Some tutorials from other call of duty games can work for CoD4 too.

wiki.modsrepository.com has really good tutorials for CoD2, CoD4, and CoD5.
http://wiki.modsrepository.com/index.php/Call_of_Duty_4:_mapping_mp

p.s. Radiant is the map editor for Call of Duty.
