Starting about a week or so ago, when trying to start a new thread or reply to a post in Mozilla, the text-box to type in simply doesn't exist. Right now to post this I am forced to use IE (gasp).
Anyways before it had always been buggered - you had to hit reply, then back, then forward again to get the text box - but now its plain out impossible to post in the forums under Mozilla.
I messaged Lep about this, but I didn't get a response, so the possibilities are that the message system is buggered too, or he's too busy, or he just doesn't care.

Its you. I use Mozilla just fine ... as you can see. Try NOT using Java mode.
I can't really think of much else that would be going wrong unless you funked something up. All I can say for sure is ... it's your end
sniff I smell a deletion comming ...

...not sure who you're asking ... I use Mozilla 1.6. But, even if he's using firefox, it doesn't matter, it still works just fine. There are several people who frequent here who use firefox ... your self included if I'm not mistaken, force.
It's most definatly on, mazemaster's end.

You have to make sure the javascript-enabled posting is off, I had the same problem in firefox. It's in your preferences in the control panel.

Yeah it's a Mozilla problem, and I'm both too busy and uncaring to fix it right now  The major problem is with editing posts, it's not as simple to do (IE you can just use an iframe, but you have to use Java to insert the editable text for Mozilla...), so if I figure it out one day or they release an update then I'll get onto it. Sorry for the inconvenience though.

You know I think I prefer the non-java posting too actually, don't really like huge images appearing and taking up the entire window and things.

you know, i have always been of the mind, get the newest and best updates as soon as they arrive, but i also understand that websites, or web masters are not compelled by this idea most times..
bottomline, without me sounding heartless, and i would hope mazeman understands i do respect him immensely, but the way i see it, if you must use IE to post here, then do so, at least till a solution for all versions of mozilla are found.
i for one, am a fan of IE, and have yet to find a suitable replacement.. i am sure one exists, but no compelling one has made its presence know to me at this time..
BTW, maze... shouldn't this have been posted in the "BUGS" thread??

It took me quite some times before I actually noticed that bugs thread stuck up the top there. It wasn't until I noticed the left hand bar said there was a new post, but there wasnt one in the regular posts, that I really looked at the page closely and noticed the stick thread. Perhaps it was the same for maze.

i do not have mozilla, so i am commenting on faith alone here..
with my job, i am gone sometimes for days at a time, so from experience i have learned to bypass the new snark post icon, cause mainly, my browser is set to snarkpit by default, and when my wife, or son logs online, they go to snarkpit first... hence most posts are old for me when i get home..
fortunately, snarkpit aligns its posts from top=newest, to bottom=oldest, so it makes it a bit easier on me.
but mainly i use the date, if i have been gone 3 days, i look at anything 3 days to zero time old...
i am sure, mozilla does not rearrange the replies in any way, so my advice to anyone, start from the top... which BTW is where all sticky topics are anyways...
either way, my condolences, that the browsers you love so much, are so inflexible, or incompatible with snarkpit
