i have had so little real time in spite of the fact that i spend most of it here, i truly have less than you all would imagine..
anywho's i am determined to get pitcrew1 released.
perhaps sunday i will set my machine up for the massive task of compiling our monster, i expect most of that time will be in figuring out the exact sequence of tools i used last time
it would be nice if we could correlate our arrivals upon the world.
how close is pitcrew2 from completion?

Ait... Sinner PM'ed me and said he's going to be unavailable for a while... So then.. Who wants the map now? You can feel free to touch up your sections, modifying them as you see fit so they can fit in with the rest of the level.
You can also add some parts... Like hallways and smaller rooms and such.

CJ, if you want to add something to it, like hallways, feel free. I find the map is lacking closed spaces.

Okay I went through the map, and people have a lot of work to do on their sections, alot of plan repeating textures and such, try adding trims and to spice of the textures and difference in architecture. Anyways, I changed some thing here and there but nothing to big. Dont have the time really, so who ever wants please tell me.

Once I get the map from CJ I'll give it a compile, and get a page on my pit with screenshots and wireframes, all with R speeds included.

lol.. Wow, god do I ever hate Visgroups... lol.. Dont know how to use 'em either. But who the hell grouped the whole freggin map! lmao!.. Here I am in flat view looking for brush errors and all I see is white and purple (purple for entities).. Had to take out the VisGrouping there. Actually, I took them all out.
Simplyfied a few things too to lower R's. And in most instances, there is no shape difference.

The main thing that was killing our r_s was bad conections between Sinner and Money's sections. they simply had no visblocking at all.
My section also has pretty high R_s, but, as I said, I plan on revamping it significantly.

speaking as someone who does a few critiques.. if you wanna post screens, reset your res to 800x600 before you load HL.. this way you cannot forget to do it later...

900 r_speeds isn't bad at all IMO. It Would be playable on a GF2/TNT2 wouldn't it?
