The way I figured it, the only files people would want from here are editing related, so go to that section  And you know, sorting out that 'profile.php' error has led me to find a search bug in Windows XP (it searches for files called that in other unspecified folders, rather than the text within a file...)

I'm not sure if this has been reported already, but if you add a new map as a HLDM level, it shows up in the Control Panel's main page as a HL2 level. (I'm talking about the drop down box under the 'Your Maps' section in the CP Main Page)

I thought that, But id just made the mistake of thinking the second drop down box was mod & 1st was game.
its actually 1st = HL1 & 2nd = HL2
Just select deathmatch from #1 & leave #2
Bug: I select Yes on the "does this answer your question" in the ts wireframe thread but its not affected it.
Edit: It seems to have just suddenyl changed to an answered thread :S weird.

there seems to be no way to alter "newest map" in our profiles.. apex is not mine, but for some reason, it thinks it is.. how do i alter it, without actually creating a new map?
PLUS my favorite map is definately not one i created, is there a way to replace it with my real choice?

I think "my favourite map" is intended to mean, "my favourite map from all the ones I made". It's supposed to give people an idea of what you think is your best work.

i doubt if i will ever use it personally, but some may chose to....
the "log out" option is non-functional..
how would i know that? well i tried to log out..
does that discount my earlier comment? nah... i am still debugging SP, something most of you don't do unless something directly effects you..
you should take a moment, and dedicate it to lep in return for all the moments he took to bring this site to you..
help him debug the system..

Bug/Problem:
I've found that I can reply to messages, but not post a new topic. (NOT related to the mandatory search before posting).
I use Mozilla and Firebird and need to check the "do not use javascript when posting" in the control panel. But it seems to use it anyway when trying to post a new topic. Maybe some setting somewhere isn't carrying over?
Thanks for your attention.
[edit] I can also edit my post no problem.

i don't feel "rejected and incorrect" should be one and the same answer..
there are far to many times, when the answer is correct, but one you are unwilling to use, so it would be rejected..
anyone else have thoughts on this besides me???
being rejected, does not automatically place it in the incorrect column IMO

So Orph can't log out...and actually for me it sometimes logs me out anyway, without a cookie clear. And for some reason my "recent posts" have been sticking for the last day, even though they're old posts and I don't have the windows open anymore.

Yeah, every topic is listed as having new posts when I'm logged in. It seemed to work correctly after I logged out once. I also have had problems using Mozilla to browse the page, but I solved it just by using IE like normal...

Quite honestly, the only feature between the two I've ever really noticed is the Tabbed page viewing. It's a nice system, but right-click open new window works well enough.

It's the "new window" thing that bothers me. It's easier to keep the clutter down somewhat. Just a preference.

Or with IE, hold SHIFT and click to open a new window
Hooookkkkayyy, anyway...
Ryandor, is the setting to disable Javascript not saved? If it's not, then that's your browser being moronic and sending the parsing script a different value to the checkform- IE sends 'on' if it's ticked, and I'm guessing your browser sends something else, it would be helpful if you could somehow find out for me what it does send so I can fix it
I will look into the logout bug.
And with new replys and whatnot, that is probably your cookie settings- again, maybe it's your browser being useless and being anti-cookie for some stupid reason, but then again I have a feeling what it might be in a few people's cases so I'll try and fix it. Although I have seen on a few PCs that if you don't click the 'keep me logged in' button you'll keep being logged in/out, that's because you have a dynamic IP and I haven't set it up to look for the cookie on any old computer unless you've told it to keep you logged in...
And Vash, I don't have any icons for them so that's why, any help with getting said images would be nice

The forums don't work properly, it doesn't realise when new posts have been made or not. The icons seem to be pretty random tbh, I get the new posts one when I post, and sometimes when others do, but often I get no new posts sign...

Another problem, not so much a bug. People when adding maps want the map page to have 2 drop menus corresponding to the map they are adding- They select Half-life in the first, and Deathmatch in the second, assuming that makes it Half-Life Deathmatch, when in fact it makes it HL2DM!
This map adding system needs tweaking or some big help sign!

Hey, I can't help it if some people are too stupid to work that map game/mod bit out (duuuh, why does it take me to the editing page when I try to post a new topic, even though it says in about 4 different places why?). What do you want me to do, make a help guide for every page like there already is..?
The logout thingy has been fixed and should now log you out properly. As for the forum posts, there's something up with the cookies and to cut a long story short new posts are only new for about 20 minutes or so... I'm working on it, cookies = spawn of satan :/

I dunno if this was talked about or not already but if you click "printable version" for the tutorials, the images dont appear, instead it shows [image1], the image BB code.
