Austria is a beautiful but old fashioned place, especially the smaller
villages. I've been there twice, and had some good times there
snowboarding and the like.

Welcome back mate, sorry to hear it wasn't the BEST of trips :sad: I've never been to Austria properly, but I have been snowboarding in a resort that had a section in Austria, so it had signs letting you know you were changing country at the top of a mountain :biggrin:
