I noticed that fraggard before had wireframe running in TS. How can I do this? since it says wireframe is not available in multiplayer - ive tried turning cheats on.

The only way I think it can work is if you load the map in the console.  As well, you will need developer set to 1, then you can type in the wireframe command.

Yes, you just load the game up with the console (and developer?), type deathmatch 0 in and restart the level

how does the yellow box determine that one answer is more correct than another?

i have my start for HL always set to -dev -console, so i can use almost any command, even in deathmatch..

Orph, unless you specify otherwise via the dropdown box, your post is considered a comment on the problem and not an actual suggested answer by the database.

Just thought I'd confirm, that's probably the only way to do it. And you must have developer mode enabled.

slap me for being silly once again, but why would anyone want to have wireframe in DM?

the only thing i have ever had to test in DM mode, that didn't work correctly in SP mode, is a trigger_push.. it is the only thing that actually worked differently in each mode (note: there could be others, but i use very few custom entities  )

i test all mods and maps in SP mode otherwise..

because the specialists is a multi-player mod.

Actually, you can't enable wireframe in DM even if you want to. It's very similar to a wallhack (I think) and wont help 'competition'.

That's why Lep said the deathmatch 0 should be included. If you don't, TS considers it a DM level by default, since TS is a MP-only mod. And it won't allow you to have the wireframe mode. Which is the problem Pegs had.

*edit: This and previous post were at the same time.

but, it seems to me, you could still load TS in SP mode like i do, only the MP entity specifics would fail to load..

anyways, since i am unsure, i will shut up now and go away

Yeah, I've already been reporting this bug to Lep; don't answer the llama thread one, I've kinda been using it to iron out bugs. Threadstarters can see the buttons but pressing them just refreshes the page.

The easy solution to that would be to mod you for the editing forums, but I should really fix that one day

edit- fixed?
