The 'problem' with that tut is that the curved part has a different
width than the other parts, wich is something I'm avoiding by using
that 2:1 clipping method. The only thing you need to be sure of is that
your vertexes are at least aligned to the 2 unit grid size.
But, well, after all it depends on whether your hallway needs to be the same width or not.

There's an option called 'snap to grid' I think, which may be useful.
Alternatively you could be using a much smaller grid that you need. Use
these buttons to make it bigger and smaller [ ]
