Hi
im planning to make a 'hide and seek' style map, but i need some suggestions for possible places to set it i.e. location wise.
Any suggestions??? :smile:

the hide n seek map im familiar of is in CS, the guy did a neighborhood basically with treehouses, bushes, pools, and little garages and fences :smile:

make it dark with traps so every1 dies often and some walls that r not solid so it will discourge ppl from going that way

Make it a tropical island. Or, alternatively, a moon base. Your choice. You should have moveable objects that cover the entrances to secret passages and stuff like that.
I don't know how this Hide&Seek idea is worth it though, because you are going to know all the hiding places and nobody will want to play with you. And, even people who didn't make the map will learn all the places soon enough.

Here's a good idea. Make the available hiding spots randomized in each game by using func_wall toggles that are triggered by a randomizer that fires so many times. (I don't feel like the big explanation, there are tutorials on randomizers around.
I want credit for that idea, thats a pretty good one methinks
