Yo hi.

Well I built so many homepages for gaming teams that I decided I should create my own homepage now. - here is the first screenshot of the welcome- and news-page.

What do you think (Well there will be a gentle soundtrack in the background when it is finished) -- klick on the image to view the full sized preview.

Looks nice but MAN that white is blinding on the black background.

hehe well thats weird @ double post.

Well the homepage background is white. so it doesn't fit with the background here. (Yeah I know - I am a LAN party gamer, too - so i know that it is not good for your eyes when there is a white picture on a dark background after 10 hours of gaming :smile: )

I like the design, but I think it's a bit plain. There's just so much unused white space. Try filling it with something subtle, so it doesn't neccessarily stand out, but at least fills up a bit of space.

I really like the design provided you don't have much / any content to put on. The area you have assigned is so small I can't picture much of use being put there.

<DIV>AAH! MY EYE!</DIV>
<DIV>I agree with everyone else, good basic design, but there's a lack of content and far too much blank space. Perhaps the occasional grey line running through the background would fix this? Still, not much of the screen space is used...</DIV>
<DIV>.</DIV>
<DIV>Oh yeah, make sure there's an off button for the music. If there is, I cant read it, not being German and all.</DIV>
<DIV>.</DIV>
<DIV>Edit: Actually, now I think of it, that would be a nice design for Winamp or something.</DIV>

Yeah sorry about that big picture here :sailor:

Ok - well my plans are that every page of this homepage will look different. So if you going to "guestbook" or something you will get a new picture in this display and a different style.

Update -- btw, there will be a "stop music" button - because I know those kind of homepages. there is a cool soundtrack in the background but after listening to this loop for about 4 minutes it will annoying you.

projekte = projects :smile:

hm yeah I have to think about it if I set the language to english. (maybe I will do a 2-language edition in which you can choose your language.)

Well obviously the small area for content will just be tiny thumbnails and to the point writing (I assume). I reckon it's nice. Different to other websites. Will be good to see some kinda animation in the site.
