You've probably heard of the linux tool you could use to get your Gmail account working as a virtual 1GB hard disk ?

The windows version is now out too, and it's pretty handy. The drive
called "Gmail" (or any other name you prefer) just appears in the list
with all the other drives.

You cannot link to files on your drive (which is logical, you would
have to give other people your passport), but you c?n store up to 1GB,
which is handy for backup purposes.

Of course, cable or DSL is preferred when using this.

Could be useful...

Installation Requirements: Internet Explorer 5 or better

So it doesn't support Firefox ? -_-
It's also handy if you actually have a gmail account :smile:

Yes, it supports Mozilla.

I'm fairly sure you were speaking of GMail and not the client force is talking about. One clue with the client that Mozilla works would be that it has a Linux binary.

Nah, you don't need IE at all ... I've got only firefox, and the thing works too :razz:

Wait, so is Google okay with this or not? I would guess no... But I'm
not sure if I want to keep all my backups there when Google decides to
cut off access to it. :smile:

your files are stored as e-mail attachments ... google isn't going to delete your e-mails, I guess :razz:

no at the moment the 10mb limt also applies to thw GMAILFS
