F5, by default. They are sent to your "C:/Program Files/steampath/half-life2/hl2/screenshots" folder.

In Hammer, not in-game.

Damn. I'm a Hammer n00b myself, but at least I've got some freakin' common sense!

There are well over 100 mapping sites to check for answers, BEFORE posting the same thing here.

really? hmm, guess it works differently in arkansan, cause i got the other thread pretty easy.

[edit]

OK, look guys,

first.. there is a "search this forum" option at the bottom of EACH PAGE! (each page of a forum, NOT each post.)
second.. screenshot is one word, try searching for "screenshot"
third.. if in doubt, read 1 and 2.

In order to take a screen shot in hammer simply do the following:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

1) With Hammer set exactly as you would like the screenshot to appear (IE: Shift + Z showing one window such as the 3D full screen) Press Ctrl + Prt Pcr (print screen button)<o:p></o:p>

2) Open Microsoft paint of other paint package and use the "paste" option.<o:p></o:p>

I prefer to use Microsoft paint because it will paste the screenshot to the correct dimensions automatically.<o:p></o:p>

3) Save the file to a BMP format to get it ready to edit in Photoshop if you intend to crop/resize or optimize for the web. If you don't intend to edit it but want to share it on the net save it as a jpeg.<o:p></o:p>
