Boy do i regret doing that.
I know there was a warning posted on the front page, but that just intriged me.
It's like the people on that site thought, "hmmm HL2DM is out lets make a map pack!"
Instead of taking their time and producing maybe 2 or 3 good quality maps, they get a box hollow it out and shove some explosive barrels on a platform. Then simply take this design and move the objects around maybe adding a skybox. At least the first kill box was original idea and wasnt pretending to be anything that it wasnt, i.e. a good map.
THESE ARE JUST SH*T, I cant believe i wasted my time downloading this map pack. I want to format my harddrive and give it a good scrub just to make sure i have removed all traces of it from my computer.

It really does annoy me when they don't even think about what they're doing to the world.
Now aliens will look down on us and laugh saying "haha, there's the puny earthlings who can't map!!! hahaha lolz".

I don't know why it bothers people so much.

...I hope you give an exception to the early build of dm_petrol that got leaked into there. It's better than most if not all of those maps combined :o

I can understand why some members still want to download it, despite
being forewarned. It's similar to the mentality of "bad
milk". If someone said "agh, this milk is sour," then everyone at
the table is tempted to taste it, just to confirm the suspicion.
No, taking other people's word isn't enough for some. You gotta
experience it yourself, even if it means risking permanent brain damage.

I'm feel the urge to download that...certain mappack aswell. Call it masochism, or simple insanity (or both), but i'm downloading it. Just for a laugh (although the chances of crying my eye-balls out are greater).

I, I, Let my son check these out, hadn't seen the warning, aarrgh! he'll never be the same. 7 years old and he thought these maps were total s**t. He said "hey, Dad, these maps suck", they didn't even finish them. Yes, my son is learning to map too and he told me to delete these, please!
