1. No idea.

2. Impossible. If it was possible to directly edit the bsp in the way you seem to be suggesting, why would we ever bother with the vmf format in the first place? In HL1 it was possible to edit entity properties without recompiling through the use of ripent.exe. As far as I know, no such program fro HL2 exists, and you would never be able to change geometry in any case.

yeh, sorry, I was in a rush, this will have better spelling. Ok, the monitor shows others users just not myself (INSERT BIG DUH HERE). I dont care about the .bsp anymore, but I have a new problem. I made a point camera and a func monitor. The first one worked perfectly as you woul expect. Then I made a physbox solid to look as a sort of cammera, then I put a point camera in front of it (the pointcamera was named "movablecamera) and set its parent to the physbox. Then I made a func monitor and put the camera name to movable camera, yet it shows my very first point camera, not the newest one. I've tried a bunch of things but it just keeps showing the first one! Plz help me...

You can't show more than one camera at a time, it just isn't possible in this game.

However, there are a few ways around it that allow you to have multiple point_cameras. Here's one:

yeh, I've seen that, I want a monitor to show its own camera, one different camera for one different monitor. Also what enables something to be picked up with the gravity gun?
