How do u find the floor of map? I honestly have no clue

I also want to create a map with the terrain and objects of omaha beachead how would i do it?

A floor, what do you mean? Floors are just normal brush`s..To create terrign in Omaha beachead would be impossible in the HL engine, Because it would lag to hell.

Play dod_charlie, dod_dog1, dod_beach etc. etc. they aren't too bad, and get a beach setting done well, for the HL engine they are big achievements.

why does this read like it does?

is it a language barrier maybe?

there are no floors, till you construct them, but to answer your question as you asked it, fall down.. the floor will show itself to you ..

i would suggest checking the noob section of many mapping sites, they maybe able to help you.

lep should set up some sort of text parser that detects posts with numerous meaningless words and atomaticaly posts that picture instead, but with the words "I'm a fag"

lol, i was a bit slow, find a copy of worldcraft 2.1 and read the helpfiles, wc 2.1 is the only one i know of that had tutes in, better still, look at some mapping sites...

one of the biggest impacts, as far as lost information to new mappers, was when the old wavelength went down..

everything a new mapper needed was there..

the loss, will be felt for a while i imagine :sad:
