Do you know the name of a skybox which is like an evening colour? I want my map to be dark but I don't want it to be pitch black, like at midnight.

you are supposed to have the blue one with skybox written on it. You change what the skybox looks like by going to 'Map' > 'Map Properties...'

For reference, this site

has a nice listing of the skymaps with descriptions.

you can also see some of the sky boxes by simply putting "skybox" in the texture filter.

I tried sky03_06 but it acted as if there was no skybox. When I looked at it it was black and repeated the images over and over, like there was no skybox.

Ah... just a thought, I am mapping for CSS with only the CSS textures, will the sky boxes have different names?

I believe you're typing the full length of the skybox texture name in
the map properties dialogue box. You should leave off the last
two characters.

Take a look at this thread, it might be relevant to your problem.
