Recently I downloaded XSI off the internet. IT was XSI Mod Tool v4.2, so it was free and legal. I installed it and everything went smooth. However, when I click on the shortcut to start it up, it goes into the loading screen, works for a bit, then the light on my box goes out. It stops using CPU, and doesn't show up in my current applications tab.

Anybody have any ideas? It's really pissing me off.

XSI Forums? Moddb? This isnt really a modelling site first and foremost, i'm sure this isn't "the only place" you can turn!

Initiative + Google = Results!

I tried the xsi forums and got nothing. Anyone know if I can use LightWave to make models for HL2? I think my dad has it.

Well I think you can get most model formats from one editor to another,
so chances are you could build it in Lightwave, import it to XSI, and
then export to HL2.

I can't import to XSI becuase it doesn't run. That's the whole reason I made this thread.

Oh whoops, shoulda read  Well in that case, I'd just say use
milkshape. Its simple, plenty powerful enough for making props, and
there is a tutorial right here explaining how to compile props for
HL2...
