another couple of models that i'm planning on using, but it could be a while before i realease them in a map. that's if i don't get distracted by something else, and let these gather dust on the shelf too. which is why i feel that i may as well release them now, so someone might get the use of them before they get forgotten.

I assume that is done wiht alpha textures? Otherwise it would get quiet a high poly count.

no alpha textures on the piano, only standard hl2 textures, but you still get 2 pianos to an Alex.

i'm rooting around my models folders trying to tidy them up a little. if i come across anything that i feel could be added, then i'll add a pic in this thread instead of starting a new one each time. i added the arch set to the 'buildings' catagory, as that's where 'building details' are listed.

i've taken the table and chairs back down for now. i'd made a mistake with scale, and the table ended up about half size, as did the chair. the only thing they would be good for was if Ferret was doing a remake of his fairytale map, and used the 7 dwarves with it this time. :

fishy, the pics won't load for me

<br style="color: limegreen;">
<span style="color: limegreen;">[edit]

Took a look at the picture in the download section. The piano strings look kinda curved. Other than that it looks cool.

aye, my webspace seems to be down atm. the strings only look curved because of the image resize/compression, but they're really straight.
you should put some fp news up to pimp them!
that would make it too easy for the fly-by-night interlopers to find them.

i've re-uploaded the table and chairs after a little tweaking. while i was at it, i made another couple of versions of the table, so it now comes in 64, 128, 192 and256 unit lengths. i done another version of the chair too, with a different backrest bit, just for some variety.

Not anymore.

Fishy, what program d oyou sue to model them?

And do you know if the max exporter i heard something about also works in g-max?

And do you need to extract the textures from other models first?

sorry, i know nothing about max.

i dont know about other progs, but milkshape can 'read' valves texture format if you extract them with gcfscape.

[edit] just uploaded another car model. it's one that i posted here before, but i'd been planning on using it, so it wasn't put up for download. then i reskinned it for Gwil, as i thought he might have been releasing it in a map, but hey, Gwil release a map!??!?, right.

anyway, the model itself is a bit rough, but it would take too long to do it all again, so it stands as-is for now. maybe i'll go back and tweak it sometime, but if anyone wants the use of it as it is, feel free. as it says on the download blurb, there's no LOD's with this, so don't have like 10 of them visible from everywhere.

Looks great fishy. You make me want to learn to model, but I think it's best to tackle one skill at a time....

If we do the Italian Job, it better be the original with Micheal Caine. The new one sucked.

Wow those look awesome fishy  As for my modelling work, well
hopefully I'll get back into it once uni is done and dusted. At the
moment its crunch time, but in a week I should be free of it for at
least a while.

If I know your age approximate, it is at least a few years older.

I first heard it on a movie. the uncut version said the "bitch" word, but the cut version released for TV was "beast"

I found it more, somehow. so i adopted it.
I am glad you favor it as well.
