Dunno what all that was...but it was cute I guess.....if you like excercises in seeing how many MBs you can save by making a video with really s**tty quality so no one can see what is going on. AM I the only one frustrated with extremely f**king s**t quality? Why make an mp3 128 kbs when for 1 meg more you can make it 192.....or instead of 150 kbps with a fps rate of 12....a video with 300 kbps with at least 23 fps.....even when I had a 56k modem (I had one for 10 years) I STILL hated it. I would rather wait for an hour while something DLS, then have another s**tty video in under 30 seconds.

Oh...and the videos content itself was ok. Looks like it was fun to make!

jesus christ tree....give em a break would ya? i may be wrong, but you obviously have never been on a lonely military outpost wishing you were anyplace else but a combat zone.....its not the quality, its the thought....they could all be out getting shot at so you can do yer s**tty little "thing" (whatever that might be)....you outta be damn grateful they are alive, and able to make this s**tty vid....back in the 60's it damn well could have been you.....

It made the news because the MoD had the video on their site, and so many people downloaded it it killed their servers.

I'm glad they're having fun and a laugh, but please, most people don't give a flying f**k about Amarillo and all the media attention it was getting was just ridiculous (this was from what, 10 days ago?!). If I ever hear that song again, or a parody, I'm going to stab someone.

We do in fact.. There is a Great Country Western song about it.. "Amarillo by Morning", up from San Antone.. Everything that I got, is just what I got on.. are some of the lyrics of the song.

It is about that Amarillo.

The song was re-released for comic releif by a comedian and Tony Christie and these have done a version of it aswell (although they could have done the vid before it was re-released cos I think I heard that they're back home now)
