So generous of you to make this offer. I was just thinking about
the abundance of generosity at the SnarkPit tonight while driving back
from work. So many people devote countless number of hours in
tutorial, forum advice, and not to mention mapping.
This overflowing generosity is what makes the Pit such a wonderful
place to be. It gives me hope to mankind that such place exists.

Snarkpit could have been exactly like any other website. You can thank its current roster I suppose, but you should really thank its original roster, meaning people of less than 100 member numbers.
I am not attempting to say that the current membership is unimportant, but more attempting to say that the original members set the groundwork and atmosphere that drew the current members today.
That is not to say we did not have bad members early on, but thankfully the good members were determined to not allow the site to degrade into "Normalcy" or what is more normal for all the other Half-Life sites.. "Elitisms"
I will always be grateful for the core members who are still around. THEY deserve your praise.. I would never have remained had I not been surrounded by such as they. (for those of you whom wish I had not, blame them)
/me bows to such good examples.
[edit] I am revising my comment to say, any core members who joined '01 and '02... those are the real hero's.
