i want to make a dalek

i have made my dalek shape but i dont know how to make it attack.

i know i am confuseing so if you need more infomation ask.

First off what are your trying to make? A human? A robot (picture looks like R2D2)?

But to answer your question I think your looking for a func_tank (brush
entity), set the vaues acordingly, and make it hate the player (I think
thats in the flags, if not use an ai_relationship), then parent the
func_tank to the thing you want to move around.

I personally have seen neither. One was before my time, and the other came after my childhood. shrugs

[edit] it seems that I am remembering something amiss. Dr. Who has been around all my life and I have never seen it even once.

Nope never seen dr. who, old or new, I think I saw 1 tid bit of the
show, but is didnt catch my interest (dont watch TV if I can help it :razz: )

/methinks its like this.. American shows may or may not do well in the UK, but damned few UK shows fare well in the US.. In fact, i would be hard pressed to think of any, although I am sure some do exist.

If you have a TARDIS, and can go anywhere in the universe, why would you go there?

But back on topic... I imagine youd make an NPC-controlled turret, and attach that to the dalek, and make it fire by itself without an NPC. I dont know how to do that tho...

there is many old doctors

i can not do it will somebody make me a gun witch shoots on its own.

I will describe what i want it needs 2 parts a main rotating thing (the bit on the dalek is connected to the gun that rotaits and stops then the gun shoots and hits)iff you dont get me ask and i will explain some more

but the person iff anyone does ,does not need to make the whole darlik only this special gun and the aiming bit i can do the rest from there

is this too hard to do if so tell me
