This is somewhat relevant to this thread also:
Stephen King has just released book 5 of his Dark Tower series. "Wolves of the Calla". I'm sure there are those of you who may not take King seriously, but I think that his 'Dark Tower' series of books is a fantasy masterpiece, that can hang with any epic fantasy tale, even LOTR. ducks
The last 2 books in the series have already been completed, and are expected to hit the shelves in 2004, 2005. The completion of this series (7 books), is supposed to mark his retirement from writing.

I reckon the third matrix film was the worst, the series just kinda went downhill from the amazing first film. The third film didn't have enough "in matrix" action for my liking - too much ship stuff, not enough mad kung fu and gunplay. Oh and the nightclub entrance is just a cheap rip off of the government lobby from the first film, its really a bit lame in comparison.

i have read only one king book, i don't particularly like his writing, but the "eyes of the dragon" was a fantastic book... i recommend it
