just got back and installed my new vid card, i knew i would, but not so soon....found a radeon 9600 pro for 126 bucks....so, i took a chance...

so far, so good....a bitch to install actually, but worth it from what i can tell.....beats my old crap hands down....and just to make sure i pissed my ole lady off completely, i bout 2 new sticks of 512 pc 133....man, shes gonna s**t! anyway, let her fly guys, i need "chastismal priming"..but this sucker is smokin ' now...w00t!....

Well youll prabably hate me for saying this, but I think that the card is broken

, I don't really know, i havent contacted ATI because I dont like dealing with warrinty crap (ATI: so did u break it or not? omega: I don't know it stoped working one day, so I bought ur 9800 pro, GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!! I want compensation!!!). In any case Ive just been keeping it around for heacks sake.

It does, but the only difference is Im not going to screw anyone over, the card is busted. After this i dont think anyone would want it, thats why I said 5 bucks, its useless, and good luck going thorugh ATI, ive delt with them before, since I cant place what happened, they wont give a refund (I think).

I'd totally take it, I've got some screwdrivers and a sadering iron, I'll fix her up . . . and then test my Cg code against it :biggrin: (not that I'm learning Cg yet, but I really want to, mainly because I don't want to use assembly to talk to the GPU)
