What is this?
This has been a little pet project of mine with my friends in charge. Long story short: I have a friend here at Uni who's into movie making, so he invested in a really expensive HD camera and wanted to do something semi-professional with it. So he, along with myself and a couple of other close friends here at my university decided to write a short script and make a movie out of it. So we did just that. We started early December and have been working on it since (about 5 months). We had to regulate our schedules so that we could find times out of the week to meet up and film particular scenes. This wasn't for any particular class or subject, no assignment or points were awarded; we simply did this because we wanted to.

What's the story?
Well, I already went through painstaking trouble to create nice cover-art for the DVD case, so I will let you guys read the back-of-the-box description for yourself: (click image to enlarge)

My character is the 'Religious Activist' and I am presented on the front cover as the 2nd person from the top (the guy with long hair).

The movie is approximately 36 minutes long, and includes all those extras. (which are longer than the movie :P ) -And we are selling it...

Can I watch Something First?

Why of course you can! Our director Neil put together a short movie trailer and uploaded it to YouTube.

WARNING: This trailer contains excessive use of strong language and a little bit of violence. [side note]: I'm the guy with the long hair and the ladies :naughty:

Without further ado, Here it is: (be sure to watch it in HD if you can!) -Hopefully this embedded video will load in HD to begin with!

So there you have it. Yes it's supposed to be a comedy, and it does have a brief couple of seconds of nudity. -There is strong violence and lots and lots of strong language. -Truly a college humor stereotype.

Where can I get MY Copy?

We are selling it and do take orders (even international orders). We are selling it for $4.00 That's right, -pretty cheap (we're wanting to break even with it). Shipping will be extra, so for most of you (unless I know you in person) will probably have to pay more for shipping.

-If you are interested, you can either send an e-mail to: katovsky (at) hotmail.com (be sure to mention me (riven) in the message so he knows how you found out about it ;) )
-or- pm me here on the Pit, or e-mail me at: riven (at) genecy.net and we can talk about shipping details and payment method.

-I'm free to answer any questions you guys might have!

Finally made the post! 8-)

"I can't come to work today. Because I'm fuckin sick. Rephrase, I'm sick of your shit".

Haha, nice. When I hear that line, it reminds me alot of Pure Pwnage which I quite enjoy. This defiantly looks pretty awesome, I only wish I had some sort of method to buy stuff online - I'd certainly, certainly buy it then! ;(

:hee: I'm glad you guys seem to like it! We just had our premier showing on campus here (a room with a projector) and had a turn-out of about 40 people (including professors and students alike) They watched it and had an awesome time (despite the extreme racism and of slanders). We sold 21 copies right there on the spot, and had orders for 6 more -cause we ran out. So, surprisingly, people seemed to laugh at the right stuff, and (generally) were able to tell what was going on in the story. They all said it was better than what they were expecting from an amateur camera director and amateur actors. -So I'm glad they enjoyed it too, and it has pumped us up to make something even better this coming summer (we'll have more locations to work with -not to mention, more time!). -& no, it's not gonna be a 'Doorknob 2' .

-reaper, we used Rammstein cause we all like it, plus it adds that much more seriousness to it :p -I think it was a good contrast for the trailer.

-Thanks for the comments guys! -And good to know my 'shop skills don't suck completely :scared:
