Urgh.
After hanging out on the halflife2.net forums for a year or so, one tends to develop a deep hatred for this type of thread.
They're guessing, that's it. The last thing we've heard from Valve is that they're hoping to ship the game to Vivendi in August.

I'm going to make two predictions about HL2:
1. It'll turn out that City 17 is located somewhere near the Black Sea/Sea of Azov in Ukraine. Perhaps it was formerly Odessa...
2. Retarded physics maps that have a bunch of vehicles and crap in an open area will replace killboxes in popularity, and if you make a serious HLDM map that doesn't have a drivable dune buggy or two sites like GlobalAssault will think it sucks.
